IMMO EMULATOR Range Rover P38 GEMS-8 1995-2000 (Not Plug&Play)

For Range Rover P38 with GEMS-8 ecu.

Description :

for cars manufactured somewhere between 1995 and 2000, engine control unit GEMS-8.
For successful installation you will need TestBook-4 or something similar from a dealer.
Power it from the “15” wire, connect it to Pin 26 of the red connector, naturally cut the wire going to the body so that there is no conflict.

IMPORTANT!
On the “15” wire, if the emulator is installed on wires, be sure to use some kind of external protection circuit - a diode in series, followed by a varistor to ground or some kind of overvoltage suppressor, for example S14K14AUTO, which can be removed from any unnecessary old unit.
If the emulator is installed inside the block, then install it AFTER the internal protection.
