What is important here is that the time frame between the different types of immo systems used is very blurry - even in 2018, on the B platform there may be some instances of the old-style immo.
Also, everything that is under the C platform - in fact, the architecture there gradually changes somewhere in 2012 (latch from K to LIN, different body, different motors, etc.).

If in doubt, to determine 100% what type of immo is used, you need a CAN log with the engine running on the table.
Well, keep in mind that the same ECU with the same hardware can be programmed for different cars and different platforms. So the answer to a question like “I have a SID807evo, give me an emulator” without some clarification is in no way possible.

Everything is done in the form of a CAN filter; in fact, there is no other way.
It can be used in cases where a replacement ECU is used, when the ABS is not original or is missing altogether, and anything like that depends on your imagination and needs.
